Indy Gun Safety Policies

ON THE DAY OF YOUR CLASS:
On the day of your class plan to show up at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to fill out paperwork. You must bring your UNLOADED firearm, (unless we are providing you with one) a pen, and paper to write on. A notebook or legal pad would be perfect. DO NOT BRING AMMO INTO THE CLASSROOM and your empty gun should be cased!

We will drive to the range at the completion of the classroom portion. Bring eye and ear protection if you have them. We have loaner sets and also sell them in our shop.

Because we limit our class size to give the best instructor/student ratio possible, we have to turn paying customers away once we fill our classes. If you just decide not to show up, you have taken the slot of a paying customer. Our classes are FIRST COME - FIRST SERVED. Once you have paid you are locked in to that class.

REFUND POLICY:

Refunds will be issued upon request under the following conditions:

Your purchase indicates you have read, understand, and agree with this policy!

10 FULL days prior to course: 100% (- PayPal Fixed Fees)

7 to 9 FULL days prior to course: 75% (-Paypal Fixed Fees)

Less than 7 FULL days prior to course: NO REFUND unless we fill your slot.

Full 100% refund issued if WE cancel. (No PayPal fees deducted)

If a course does not indicate the number of slots left there are more than 4 left!
This site is not updated in real time! If a course is full we will notify you as soon as possible to ask if you want a refund or to be moved into another course.

All cancellations must be made via VOICE MAIL at (317)345-3263. NO EXCEPTIONS!

If WE cancel a course, you are certainly entitled to a full refund. Having to re-scedule the live fire range portion due to weather or scheduling conflicts DOES NOT constitute canceling a course. The shooting portion will be done as soon as possible considering both of our schedules.

You MUST register not only here, but at the NRA site. The link is provided in the course email sent out to the email address you used to register with Google Checkout.

Certificates are issued upon completion of the course objectives. You must complete all of the required classroom AND live fire range time, and must pass the written test and the live fire shooting test. The written test consists of 50 questions in mutiple choice and true/false format with 70% being the lowest passing score. To pass the shooting test, a student must hit a 9" paper plate or circular target, 15 times from a distance of 15 feet. this may be done from any position learned in the course, and the only time limit is the student must finish the shooting in the time alloted for the live fire range exercise -- 2 hours.

At the instructor's discretion, a student may be disqualified from the course for a flagrant safety violation, such as (but not limited to) pointing a loaded firearm at a person, not following instructions, or ignoring the safety rules learned in the course.

In the last 5 years, only 3 students failed to complete the course. We cover what you need to know to pass and be safe.... over and over again!
