Indy Gun Safety offers the National Rifle Association's Basic Pistol Course. Participants will be issued an NRA certificate upon successful completion of the objectives. We accept students ages 12 to 112! You DO NOT have to be an NRA member to take the course! |

Our course includes: An 8 hour course of instruction. -- At least 6 hours of classroom instruction. -- At least 2 hours on the firing range with certified instruction in live firing. Participants learn to name, explain and demonstrate the rules for safe handling of a handgun and proper storage practices for handguns and ammunition. Demonstrate and explain how to handle ammunition in a safe manner. Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and ATTITUDE necessary to shoot a handgun in a safe manner. Gun handling training. Selection of a firearm that's right for you. Private, 1 on 1 training available on request. (We can come to your home!) Public class $120 per person. Private class $400 for 1 or 2 students, $500 for up to 4 students. |
